Membership

Our purpose is to promote and foster a spirit of friendliness and good fellowship among the officers and family members of area police departments and to aid injured and fallen officers. Membership dues fund our ongoing mission of supporting area officers and their families in times of need and crisis

Who Can Become A Member?

Membership is open to past or present family members of any police officer or a retired officer. Our current membership includes wives, mothers/mothers-in-law, sisters/sisters-in-law, aunts, grandmothers, and widows.

Types of Membership:

HONORARY MEMBERSHIP

Shall be given to any person who wishes to be informed of the association news but will not be required to go to meetings, will not pay dues, and shall not be allowed to vote or hold office.

Honorary members will receive monthly association newsletter.

ACTIVE MEMBER

An Active Member attends a minimum of two meetings per year, has membership dues in current status, and is free of any debt to the Association.

An active member has the right to vote and hold office should they meet the attendance criteria set forth in the bylaws.

Meeting Information

Membership meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. If you are unable to attend a meeting, both the agenda and meeting minutes are available to all active members.

Membership Dues

Membership dues are $30.00 per fiscal year (beginning in October) once your application has been approved.

If you are interested in being an honorary member please note on your membership application. Honorary members do not pay yearly dues.
